Nestled at the foot of Mount Thomas and part of the Thomas River Conservancy, this beautifully renovated farmhouse dates back to 1800's. Ailsa Homestead will accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, one of which even has a fireplace. This beautifully decorated home has a stunning lounge and dining area, a huge fireplace for the cold winter evenings and a fully equipped kitchen. Long, sheltered verandas offer the perfect place to sit during the balmy summer evenings or to bird watch during the day as over 60 species having been sighted in the garden alone. With a pool table and swimming pool, Ailsa is a wonderful family holiday accommodation.

Ailsa Cottage is close to the main homestead but remains private and has access to the swimming pool. It can sleep up to six guests with 2 double bed rooms and the third room has 2 single beds. As with the main homestead, all bedding and towels are supplied and this lovely cottage is also fully equipped and looks out onto the park style garden.

Being part of the Thomas River Conservancy, there is plenty to occupy the holiday maker. Game is frequently sighted in the area, yellow fish, trout and bass fishing is available, walks and hikes, hunting in season for those who are interested and spectacular flora, some of which are found nowhere else in the world. More than 150 species of birds abound throughout the region and Old Thomas River Historical Village will take you back in time with its diverse range of memorabilia and antiques. The village also has The Museum Pub and the Ramble Inn Restaurant, providing wholesome, tasty country style food.
